Harmony’s mission is to serve children, families, and communities through counseling, education, and adoption. Since our founding in 1996 Harmony’s focus has been finding forever families for children, domestically, internationally, and through the foster care system. Our work with families often begins at placement and continues throughout the adoption journey.

HARMONY TO PROVIDE PATH TRAINING FOR PROSPECTIVE FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE PARENTS
We are pleased to announce that Harmony Family Center has been chosen by the State of Tennessee to provide PATH training for families who are interested in opening their home to children in the foster care system in Tennessee.
The PATH course (Parents As Tender Healers), which is required by the State, is designed to serve as a guide through the complexities of the child welfare system, and to demonstrate the ways the system affects children and families. PATH also provides opportunities for prospective foster, adoptive, and kinship parents to assess their own strengths and resources and to determine whether they are ready to take on the role of becoming a foster parent.
Harmony is offering PATH training in the Northeast, Smoky, East, Knox, TN Valley, Northwest, Southwest, and Shelby regions of the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. For more information please call 844-PATH4TN.
